Proper Disposal of MOTORTECH Equipment and Batteries Contained Therein

European Union, United Kingdom

MOTORTECH electrical and electronic equipment is not suited for use in private households and cannot be disposed of as waste from private households. At the end of its service life, dispose of your MOTORTECH equipment in accordance with the applicable local legislation on disposal of electrical and electronic equipment or return your MOTORTECH equipment to us for proper disposal. For this purpose, please contact:

Before disposing of or returning your equipment, also ensure the following:

  • Delete personal-, company-, and system-related data on the equipment.
  • Remove waste batteries and waste accumulators from the equipment in accordance with the instructions in the equipment documentation. Dispose of them according to the applicable local legislation or send them back to us.

Understanding the Symbols

The symbol [1] & [2] of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the product must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life, but must be submitted for separate collection.

With batteries, the chemical designation [3] below the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the battery contains the named contaminant: cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb).

All Other Countries

At the end of its service life, dispose of your MOTORTECH equipment in accordance with the applicable local legislation on disposal of electrical and electronic equipment or return your MOTORTECH equipment to us for proper disposal. To do so, contact your MOTORTECH contact person.
